God bless that Park ranger. I don’t know anything about Marissa Lorusso, but she got exactly what she deserved in this instance.

Park ranger needs to be beaten senseless for that

Good. I hate the new normal of having to listen to other people’s music on trails, even if it’s music I like (it never is). I wish they’d ticket smokers too. Mumble grumble old man clouds bitch gripe why back in my day kids lawn etc...

I’d vote for beating Marissa senseless personally

Where I come from people have to get permission from the council to play music in public

Unsure. Googling now.
Update: the park ranger should’ve used a weapon on her.

Citation means something different outside the USA. For example, “a mention of a praiseworthy act in an official report”.
Hence Pip’s response.
Here we would call it a ‘ summons’.

Robyn’s great! Playing music on a speaker pretty much anywhere? Not so much.

My dad hiked to the bottom of the GC when he first moved to Arizona. He said people gave him shit on the way down because he was smoking cigs.
Fucking Jersey...

Not to be confused with “Show Me Love” by Robin S.

On one hand, keep your music down.
On the other, if you’re looking for peaceful, unadulterated nature, the amusement parks that are our National Parks are not the place to go.
I can find quieter trails in the middle of Phoenix than I can at a lot of NPs.

I like Robyn.
Sodcasting, on the other hand, is the sign of an imbecile. Coming back from the last oppomeet the couple next to me thought everyone wanted to hear their shitty music.

You aren’t wrong, but its not hard to find solitude in NP’s either...even the most crowded parks.
I can’t quite get me feels on that video. One the one hand its a fun little trip down memory lane and he’s not wrong about crowds making it harder to enjoy the parks...but I don’t know what the message was other than “could you people hurry up and die out already so my spirit can roam the park without again?”
I don’t particularly subscribe to the “the place was too full the moment the guy after me moved in” policy. If it’ s a nice place, people will find out about it and they have every right to do so as I. crowds bring challenges for sure, but we don’t really get to present the apocalypse as the solution.

Cactus Ed is sleeping soundly in his Sonoran Desert grave knowing you couldn’t “ get the feels” on that video.

I mean literally that I didn’t understand what that video was meant to say. It’s not personal . That being said I'm not remotely worried of what cactus ed thinks of me either.

I wouldn’t really expect it to. You’re not the target audience.
And you shouldn’t care what dead people you’ve never met think of you. That would be pretty weird.
